Cuboid dislocation following low-energy injury in a college athlete: A case report

Introduction: Cuboid dislocations in isolation are rare injuries often associated with high energy mechanisms, but here we present a case of college football player low mechanism that underwent surgical treatment. Case Report: We report an 18-year-old who injured his left foot after tripping over dog and falling down the stairs. His injury was initially missed, he later found to have cuboid dislocation. He open reduction operating room midfoot stabilized Kirschner wires. Conclusion: due soft tissue constraints around it. As this patient, is missed delayed time diagnosis Imaging should be scrutinized, particularly inversion/plantarflexion force cause injury. Due restraints, usually requires reduction, adequate timely can lead improved outcomes function.
